The Trails Park
The Trails Park in Summerlin has been one of my favorite all-around parks for several years. Located immediately next to The Trails Community Center and Pool.
I started coming here when my son was still in a carrier and now he’s a toddler. Add that to being a runner and dog owner, we have a few exciting things to cover.
The Trails (obviously)
A path located at the southwest side of the park will take you on an adventure filled with surprises. Most excitingly, you will find multiple playgrounds as you make your way down the path. Some of the most beautiful trees in Las Vegas are on these paths making this one of the shady park areas of Summerlin.
Sports
The Trails has three baseball fields hosting kids’ games from all around the Las Vegas area.
I have so many good memories of my son, as a toddler rushing over to the basketball hoop at The Trails whether or not he could make a basket.
Playgrounds
This park has two playgrounds ready for kids of all ages.
The Toddler Playground is located near the baseball fields. Little ones will enjoy a climbing structure and slide.
Right next to the community center is the Older Kids Playground. The play structure is built on a large sand area. So make sure to bring your sand toys!
Splash Pad
The Trails has a small splash pad close to the toddler’s playground. Flowers and butterflies squirt out water on hot summer days. And, they are a perfect break for hot baseball players.
