Farm Animals
The Las Vegas Farm feels like entering a rustic haven amid the desert bustle. A wonderful variety of animals welcome visitors, ranging from cows as big as Ferdinand to pigs who come out from their cozy houses to see you. The woolly sheep and inquisitive goats add a charming touch, while the alpacas steal the show with their gentle nature. Vivid peacocks strut around, adding a burst of color everywhere. And don’t forget to stop by the turtle habitat to see who’s swimming by. It’s a harmonious blend of animal life.
Feed the Animals
On your way in to see the animals, stop and purchase a bag of food. Although it’s clear from all of the food they already have in their pens that they get fed well, they still are convinced that the visitors’ food is much better. So grab a bag and get ready to have fun feeding all of the animals. But, just a heads up, the goats will eat the bag the food comes in as well.
Maze
The adventure doesn’t stop with the animals—enter the challenging wooden maze. For some reason, there have always been ducks, geese, and peacocks at the entrance to this wooden labyrinth. I think they wanted a tip, but our group didn’t but they still let us in. This maze is a lot of fun with several twists and turns of murals painted on a wooden maze. As if this wasn’t fun enough, the birds from the front that we didn’t tip will often be running around inside with you! This maze was actually pretty hard for all of the groups that were in there at the time that I went. Definitely try it out and come back to let us know how you did!
Farmer’s Market
The on-site farmers market is a treasure trove. Fresh vegetables, tempting baked goods, and pure honey showcase the best of local produce. Hint… hint… when the grocery store prices are skyrocketing, this farm has some amazing prices for produce.
Train Ride
Families with little ones will appreciate the whimsical train ride, a fun addition to the farm experience. The joy on the faces of children as they embark on this mini adventure is priceless, creating lasting memories for both parents and youngsters alike.
Cats – Especially Orange Ones!
My son walked up to the line to the farm and said “This is a Cat-astrophe!”, a line he pulled from Cat-boy on PJ Masks. If you like cats, this is your heaven. The cats may be the real owners of the place. Thankfully, they are so well-behaved. Of course, I had to notice that there is an abundance of orange cats. I have yet to find an employee who can name all of the orange cats. If you want to keep your kids busy for a while, challenge them to count them all!
In conclusion, the Las Vegas Farm is a delightful escape into a world where animals and produce harmonize. Make sure to grab your camera for one of the many photo opportunities along the way.
