Earth Day & Arbor Day

The city of Las Vegas invites the community to a free Earth Day/Arbor Day celebration, tree planting and park cleanup at Centennial Hills Park Friday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Organizations and businesses that would like to participate with a booth should download this form and sign up by April 19 to reserve a spot at the celebration. Community members that would like to help plant trees and clean up the park can sign up online here. Participants will enjoy DJ music, free snow cones and activities. Food trucks will offer refreshments for sale. See the map for location in the park.

     The participants will plant 24 drought-tolerant shade trees, including Bur Oak, Chinese Pistache and Lacebark Elm varieties. Children’s activities will include face painting, games, a bounce house and two craft stations.
