Huckleberry Park
Huckleberry Park has some of the most impressive park features in all of Las Vegas. Especially when it comes to kids.
State-of-the-Art Playground
When you pull up to Huckleberry Park, you will notice a playground like no other. The towering play structure has levels of climbing obstacles that will remind you of something you’ve seen in American Ninja. There is a toddler playground and a big kid play area both filled with slides and climbing obstacles. You will also find some climbing and balancing structures with wooden or rock appearance. This is the perfect place for a game of The Floor is Lava.
Near one of the parking lots, is a large swingset for all ages to enjoy.
And a bathroom sits close to everything.
Splash Pad
Bring a towel to this park in the summer because the splash pad is right next to the playground so kids can go back and forth. It has geysers, a water tunnel, and buckets of dumping water throughout.
The play area and splash pad is one of the safest parks I have gone to at night with a well-lit playground and splash pad and a lot of people there. This is perfect during those 115-degree days that only get reasonable to be in once the sun is down after 7 p.m.
Two Dog Parks
For dog lovers, there are dog parks for small and large dogs. The large dog park is one of the only places in town where I have seen a dog water fountain that also has a bottle-fill functionality.
Sports Facilities
A fitness course is scattered throughout the walking path and a few workout machines are off the beaten path.
For athletes, Huckleberry Park has both tennis and basketball courts in addition to a large field that could be used for anything. This is also one of the only parks with a 3-hole putting green.
You can also bring along your bocce balls and horseshoes because this park has very well-kept Bocce courts and horseshoe pits.
